New Patient Visit
Initial patient visits include a health intake, exam, and treatment. Extra time is added to the first visit so that we can gain a thorough understanding of your current health state and both your short- and long-term healthcare goals. It also gives us the opportunity to answer any questions you may have about acupuncture or Chinese Medicine. For new patient forms and additional information, please see the New Patient section.
Follow-up treatment sessions include a short health intake to make sure we are progressing towards your health goals along with a full treatment.
Chinese Herbal medicine is a great option for people looking to address issues such as seasonal allergies, menopause, and digestive disorders, just to name a few. All of our herbal formulas are custom prescribed based on key factors such as current health state and health care goals.
All herbs used in the formulas we prescribe are rigorously vetted to be of top medicinal quality and from reputable growers. The herbs we use are organic, whenever possible.
Herbal consultations include:
- 90-minute initial consultation
- Drug-herb interaction screening of all current medications and potentially prescribed herbal formulas
- Customized Food Therapy recommendations
- Two (2) week supply of herbal formula
- One (1) 30-minute follow-up session
For patients who have had an initial herbal consultation or for current acupuncture patients who are in need of an herbal follow-up. This also includes acute issues such as a cold, skin issues, allergies, or other issues.
